The People's Hall
Built by the people of the community in 1895, for the community to enjoy for generations to come.
This beautiful Victorian building in Frimley Green is available to hire for events: classes, birthday parties, talks, meetings. The hall has great facilities, light airy main room, seating can be provided for up to 75 people, kitchen, toilet, off street parking, courtyard garden. Parking: Parking is available on the hall drive and adjacent laybys along Frimley Green Road. At busy times, you may be able to use the Frimley Green Rec car park, but please be aware of gate closing times (normally before dusk). Please be mindful of local residents when parking (Bowling Green Court is private property and should not be used). Thank you."

What is the size of the hall?The main hall section is approximately 13.5 m x 6.5 m.

What is the capacity of the hall?The hall has a standing capacity of 75 people - not accounting for tables, chairs, and any other equipment.

What is the ceiling height?The ceiling is 2.8 m high.

Can I bring a Bouncy Castle?We do allow the use of bouncy castles, but it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that it will safely fit in the hall / court yard (as per the specified dimensions).

Can I use Roller Skates?Sadly No. The halls 125 year old solid maple floor has recently been restored, and whilst we try to allow most things, we cannot permit anything that may cause harm or damage to the floor or the building.

What facilities can the hall offer?The hall has great facilities: a light airy main room, tables and chairs, Disco lights and speakers, a kitchen, a toilet, off street parking, and a courtyard.

What parking is available?Parking is available on the hall drive and adjacent lay-bys along Frimley Green Road. At busy times, you may be able to use the Frimley Green Rec car park, but please be aware of gate closing times (normally before dusk). What is the size of the yard?The yard is approximately 10.5 m x 4 m.

How many tables and chairs are avaialble?There are 7 tables and 20 chairs available at all times in the hall. Upto an additional 50 chairs are available on request.

Does the hall have Disco lighting and audio?Yes! We are very pleased to be able to offer 2 x 10" 300W Bluetooth Disco Speaker cabinets and an LED Disco Lighting box. You are able to connect your own device to the speakers following the instructions in the hall to control your own music, and the LED light unit is set to automatically track your music.

How can I check rates and availability?We will be updating the website in due course to show a live calendar. At this present time, please complete a contact form detailing when you would like to hire the hall and the purpose.

When do I need to pay?We will ask for a 50% deposit at the time of booking to confirm, and the remaining balance will become due 2 weeks prior to the booking.

Use of personal electrical equipment.It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that any electrical equipment they bring into the venue is safe to use and, where applicable, has a valid PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) certificate or other relevant safety certification.
